August Favorites
Hello everyone!
August has been a splendid month for me and I wanted to share my monthly
favorites, which in a way made this month better.
Throughout
August I’ve been quite the busy bee traveling and searching for a new flat,
which is why I’ve been mostly inspired by casual vibes, feeling comfortable
while traveling, and being able to party hard in style.
First I will bring to your attention my casual favorites. Number one is a Bugs Bunny jumper from the new Fall/winter H&M collection. It is the most comfortable, warm, and fluffy jumper that everyone, in your group of friends, will ask to borrow in the cool evening. My number two is a TOPMAN casual shirt. The fabric is so light and soft, that it almost blends with your own skins! This shirt is perfect for a hot day. Personally I have been wearing it to the beach during the day, going for drinks with it, in the evening, you can practically find 101 ways to wear this shirt! #LOVEIT Both items are very affordable and you can still pick them up from the nearest H&M and TOPMAN.
Moving on to my formal favorites. As I mentioned above this month I have been mainly focused on comfort. However you still need your formal shirts. One of my favorite brands for shirts is Hollister, simply because of the fabric that is beyond soft and feels great on the skin.
In terms of colours I picked white and light blue, which I’d say are the best colours for the summer. Again you can pick them both from your Hollister store, as they are still available.
And lastly my
beauty favorites, or what I call them - “The travel essentials kit”. My absolute all time favorite are the L’Oreal Men
Expert shirt protect deodorants. I am absolutely in love with them. A) They do
not leave marks on your cloths and B) they smell fresh. They come as spray and
roll-on, but I normally buy whatever is on promotion in Boots in bulk
quantities, so in this case is the spray #BootsHaul.
The next couple
of items are my hair products. Many of you may recognise the VO5 heat
protector. I am obsessed with this heat protector, for several reasons. A)
Smells adorable! B) Makes your hair soft
and shiny C) protects the hair very well! Hence I strongly recommend for both
guys and girls! And of course the got2B volume powder by Schwarzkopf. This
product is very easy to carry around with you and you can even take it with you
on the airplane in your hand luggage. In terms of usage, you just need to put a
little bit of powder on your hair and shake it off (depending on the style you
are going for).
Last, but not
least from the beauty favorites is my fragrance of the month – Armani Prive
Cuir Améthyste A.K.A. the Holy Grail violet fragrance. It has a very unique scent a dry powdery violet full of elegance with soft &
smooth suede-like leather that is arising from the birch note, and just a hint
of supporting patchouli and vanilla in the background. I got my bottle as a Birthday present in March but
I haven’t really found a proper occasion to use it until now. It is a great
choice if you want to go out in the evening by the seaside.

Dealing with Stress and Uncertainty
For the last few months, I have been
dealing with a lot of stress around my final exams of my undergraduate
degree. A lot of this stress is not
sourced from the exams themselves, but more of the “What comes after them?”
question. What I chose to do is to put my thoughts down and express how I feel
about this state I am in. In my head, I
believe that there are many of you that may be going through the same thing, so
I decided to share how I deal with this situation – I say to myself:
You can and you will!
The road will be hard as hell (like now), the view may not always look
promising, and the people you meet may act like total assholes, but it is
possible to conquer that battle you’re dealing with right now.
As long as you keep pushing!
Self-doubt is an unavoidable enemy of the mind, something we have each
endured during times of both triumph and failure.
Conquering self-doubt takes time; it’s no easy task and requires persistence.
I wish I had the magic answer, a cure for decompressing the stress and ambiguity
– like Xanax, but the truth is I’ve had to learn how to own it.
What comes naturally to us as humans is to feel down after we take a
hit. However what I found is that the best way to deal with it is to own the
struggle, the heartache, the mistakes, so you can focus on the mission at hand.
Self-doubt is laced with insecurity, and to be honest that’s a normal thing to
experience in life, we just have to be comfortable with questioning our ability
to achieve goals. Question everything, and believe that no matter the outcome
there is a lesson to be learned. You have to fight to make shit happen in life,
if it were all easy we would never find value in obtaining what we’re seeking.
Conquering the battle of self-doubt starts with the acceptance of life’s
ambiguity. When we accept and embrace the unknown we open the door for
opportunity. Defining our future starts with being unafraid to take grasp of
the situation at hand.
Have faith in the actions you take toward
accomplishing your dreams, they’re worth
it, and believing in yourself is the first step.
March Favourites
Hello all!
It's been a long time since I posted on here, BUT I AM BACK NOW!
Over the past month I have been shopping like crazy! So I thought that I want to share my March favourites with you dear readers!
OK so let's start with the clothing.
Firstly my absolute favourites - the vintage wash ripped jeans. They are £40 from TOPMAN and you can match them with New Balance trainers (or similar) they look absolutely amazing and are my chillin' jeans.
My next item is a smart grey bomber jacket, again from TOPMAN, £60. It's a perfect substitute for casual blazer, it would be my choice when going out for drinks, not too smart, but still gives a classy hint and its more comfortable and relaxed.
The last one from the clothing is a Hollister shirt made of very light cotton fabric - absolute must have! Some good news - the shirt is currently on sale and you can get it only for £20. What I love about this item is that I can wear it with my ripped jeans as well as with my smarter jeans or even trackies and its still looks great.
What you need to have is the new Valentino cologne. The one that I have is Edition Noire and is absolute the best small that you can put on you!
Lastly I will be talking about these precious little grey suede boots. You can get them, as well, from TOPMAN for £70. Match them with roller up dark blue/black jeans or you can wear them with grey formal trousers.
Moving on, except cloths and shoes I decided to let you in on my essential accessories, home products and drink.
As you can see my favourite drink for the month has been the Malibu! Absolutely adore this little juice from heaven <3. You sip it straight on rocks or mix with literary everything.

My room favourites are two candles Pineapple/Ginger and Amazon Lily both from the Primark range. They smell absolutely great so I definitely recommend them for relaxing or other activities ;)
And last but not least the perfect combo: my Daniel Wellington - Silver Classic Sheffield, £179 and black Pandora leather bracelet, £45. Its very simple and classy nothing better than black leather and silver, in my opinion. :)
And this takes me to the end of my March favourites. Hope you found them interesting :).
